Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey (Cartographic). SDV848.
Site of a pond shown on OS 25" (1880s) map as a sub-rectangular feature c33m long x up to 20m wide.

Site of a reservoir pond at Wheal Josiah shown on the 1857 Lease map of Devon Great Consols mine & on OS (1884) map. It provided water for the nearby winding engine house boilers. The survey in 2002 found the pond overgrown with banks 1.25m high x c1m wide Other details: Site 151.
