Earlier site of Nethercott Farm. In the 19th century this was located to the north east of the present settlement of Nethercott. The tenancy was advertised in 1807, with its "good farmhouse and all necessary out-buildings", and over 90 acres of arable, meadow and pasture land. By the 1851 census it was occupied by a farm labourer and had presumably been incorporated into John Banbury's holding at Kigbeare.
