Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 128-9 Figs 15,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
The survey in 2002 at the Devon Great Consols mines found a large area of small prospecting pits between SX41597351 to SX41817350 with another area of larger lode back pits to the south between SX41627340 to SX41857340. The pits are aligned on the east to west lodes & may have originated during the 18C. Other details: Sites 177 & 178.
