Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 154, Figs 4,16,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
Site of an area of lode back or Costean pits to the west of South Fanny mine marking the western end of the South Lode. The survey in 2002 found the deepest shaft to be 5m diameter x 6m deep with smaller pits 2m x 1m x 1.5m deep. Costean trenches were also visible. Other details: Site 217.
