Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 160, Figs 21,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
A group of buildings shown on 19C maps at Wheal Josiah mine consisted of a house or cottage with outbuildings & a yard. The house may have accommodated the manager of the saw mill. The survey in 2002 found the house was occupied & the smaller outhouse buildings to the north had been converted for domestic use. Other details: Site 231.
