Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 173-4, Figs 22,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

Ore from Agnes's Shaft (see PRN 3872) appears to have been taken to the Wheal Anna Maria 'upper' dressing floors (see PRN 56084) for processing but the survey in 2002 found a feature resembling a small processing floor close to the shaft. The feature consisted of a rectangular flat working area 5.5m long x 4m wide founded on a low dry stone rubble wall. Other details: Site 256.
