Boundary Stone half buried by roadworks but ILB visible.


Jenkinson, T., 2005 - 2011, B3416/B3212/B3344/Old A38 Exeter to Plymouth (Report - Survey). SDV322256.

Site visit 16th July 2004. Boundary stone erected circa 1873 about 30 metres to the west of Rue St Pierre on the old A38 road. Inscribed 'ILB' (Ivybridge local Board). The board was set up by four parishes to tackle the problem of sewage. The stone, which is sunken, is chipped on the back edge and at risk of impact from grass cutters.
