Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 192 Figs 22,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

A number of mine buildings are shown on 19C maps to the north of the end of the incline railway line at Wheal Emma mine. The buildings may have been associated with preliminary dressing work for the Thomas & Incline shafts. The survey in 2002 found no evidence for the buildings apart from an earthwork platform for a long building at SX44017369. Other details: Sites 296,296/1.
