Site of a large irregular shaped pond up to 60m long x up to 30m wide shown on OS 25" (1880s) map to the west of Incline Shaft at Wheal Emma mine.

Site of a pond shown on 19C maps at Wheal Emma mine which may have been a settling tank for contaminated waste water. A leat aqueduct is shown running east from the north of the reservoir pond at SX43857369 to SX43827363. The survey in 2002 found the pond between two long mounds of rubble waste & partly filled with water. The leat appeared to run along the top of a revetment wall & presumably entered a tunnel under the incline railway line before reaching the reservoir pond. Other details: Site 308.
