Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey (Cartographic). SDV848.
Site of possible water meadows on the flood plain of the River Culm to the southeast of Millhayes. Water channels & sluices are shown on OS 25" (1880s & 1906) maps to control the flow of water in the area. As well as sluices at ST14131391 (see PRN 71554) & ST14211379 (see PRN 71555) there are 'Sluices' shown at ST13911383. Other details: Also on OS 25" (1906) map.
