Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 211 Figs 26,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

Leat shown on OS (1884) map running from a mine building at SX43187295 (see PRN 71551) to possibly join the long leat (see PRN 56111) & then separate from it to mine buildings at SX42687263. The survey in 2002 found the leat from SX42687264 to SX42737286 was 0.5m wide x 0.4m deep with low 0.25m high banks. A large rock waste tip had blocked the leat. Other details: Site 332.
