Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 211 Figs 26,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

Waste tip shown on the 1867 map on the tramway line (see PRN 70478) from the granite quarry (see PRN 51110) to Impham Quay. It has been assumed the spoil heap relates to the quarry rather than Devon Great Consols. The survey in 2002 found two linear spoil heaps of waste granite up to 3m high x 20m long with remnants of the tramline on top. Other details: Site 333.
