Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 214 Fig 38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
Three features which may be reservoir ponds not shown on the 19C maps may relate to to later 20C precipitation works at South Wheal Fanny mine. The water source was probably the leat up hill (see PRN 71577). The survey in 2002 found three rectangular depressions 3.5m x 2m, 6m x 4m & 4m x 3.5m set close to the north bank of the Great Leat (see PRN 56109). Other details: Site 340.
