Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 227, Fig 38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

Site of a small precipitating tank or mine building at Devon Great Consols which is not shown on the archive maps. It is located near the original course of the western leat (see PRN 71604). The survey in 2002 found a rectangular feature 7m long x 2.6m wide with a base up to 1m below ground level & remnants of rotting timber & corrugated asbestos. Other details: Site 365.
