Full description
Timms, S. C., 1982, Wall in Garden of Crediton Vicarage (Worksheet). SDV323115.
Site visited during autumn 1975. A stone wall was discovered in the Vicarage garden in 1975. A 0.9 metre length of wall running east-west was revealed in a trench 0.9 metres north to south by 0.8 metres east to west. The trench was located 8 metres to the east of the east wall of the vicarage. The wall was 0.3 metres wide and a height of 0.3 metres remained. Finds (all from disturbed post-wall contexts) were post-medieval and modern in date, with pot, clay pipe, glass and a broken buckle.
