Site of 'Plyford Hill Cottage' shown on OS 25" (1880s) map as a U-shaped group of buildings forming a square around a rectangular yard in the southeast corner of a retilinear enclosure. The OS 25" (1906) map shows the cottage as a square feature. Other details: Also on OS 25" (1906) map.
