Site of 'Birds' Roost' cottage shown on OS 25" (1880s & 1906) maps as a small irregular shaped building in an irregular shaped enclosure with two small rectangular buildings to the north. A large triangular shaped 'Marl Pit' is shown to the west. Other details: Also on OS 25" (1906) map.
