Dobinson, C. S., 1996, Anti-aircraft artillery, 1914-46 (Monograph). SDV323690.

Light AA Battery at Site '[C]', Exeter. Equipped with a single 40mm Bofors gun on a MkII platform. Manned by 75 Regt, 303 Bty. Other details: AAI.

Fair Oak Farm East EL4 (EL1). Equipped with a MkIII Bofors gun and supporting Lewis gun. 12 Regt, 34 Bty (temporary 35 Bty). 13 April 1941 to 5 June 1941. On night of 9/10 May 1941 single aircraft attacked aerodrome, aircraft engaged by Bofors gun. On night 11/12 May 1941 a total of 89 40mm rounds and 205 .303 rounds were fired during two air-raids.
