Sutcliffe, H., 2006, Letter & sketch (Correspondence). SDV324149.
A vault was exposed in the churchyard of St Peter & St Paul parish church in Broadhempston in 1979. Stone steps apparently led down to a metal door. The brick vault held two tiers of up to 20 coffins, some of lead & some of wood. The vault was resealed with the entrance filled in.
