Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, Untitled Source (Cartographic). SDV54691.
Site of former quay on the eastern bank of the River Tamar, likely to be associated with a former limekiln (PRN 5439). The 1880s-90s 25" OS map indicates at least two places to the north of the limekiln where the river bank appears to have been modified into rectangular indents, one or both of which may represent the site of the quay. According to the landowner a stone masonary quay wall survives. A trackway (see PRN 72130) leads from the larger indentation towards Rumleigh.
