Milestone marked as 'Kingsbridge 1 M.S.' to north of Kingsbridge cemetery at High House Point. Map object based on this Source.

Jenkinson, T., 2006 - 2009, Kingsbridge to Dartmouth A379 (Report - Survey). SDV324551.

Date of Survey: 19th August 2004. Milestone situated approx 300 metres north-west of New Bridge, just up from the entrance to Bridge House, against the wall on the north side of the road. In fair condition with paint residues although the edges are chipped and there is some lichen on the face. Inscribed 'Kings/Bridge/1/Mile'. Part of a remarkable run of milestones between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The Kingsbridge and Dartmouth Trust was founded in 1759 but the extant milestones are probably of 19th century date.
