Milestone marked as 'M.S. KINGSBRIDGE . 3' on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.
Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.
Milestones marked as 'M.S Dartmouth 12/Kingsbridge 3' on 1904-1906 map.
Jenkinson, T., 2006 - 2009, Kingsbridge to Dartmouth A379 (Report - Survey). SDV324551.
Date of Survey: 2nd April 2005. Milestone located at the west end of Frogmore village, about 300 metres west of turn to South Pool. On north side of road by telegraph pole. Inscribed 'Kings/Bridge/3/Miles'. Rediscovered early in 2005 following grass cutting. Worn. Black paint residues in letters and number. One of a remarkable run of milestones between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The Kingsbridge and Dartmouth Trust was founded in 1759 but the extant milestones are probably of 19th century date.
