A trackway is depicted on the modern Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map, extending eastward onto the heathland from the A375 road. Access from the road is now fenced off, and the trackway is grass covered and no longer used. The trackway leads to the remains of a group of buildings of probable World War Two date (see sites 286–287, 320–322) and may have originated as an access road for this site. The trackway is not depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1891 1:10560 map (Sheet 70NE).
