Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey (Cartographic). SDV848.
Site of 'Old Marl Pit' shown on OS 25" (1880s) map as a semi-circular feature on the north side of the field boundary to the southeast of Combe Farm. The feature is shown but not labelled on OS 25" (1906) map. Other details: Also on OS 25" (1906) map.
