A fairly large building, roughly ‘L’ shaped, is depicted on the Ordnance Survey maps of 1890 and 1905 on the western edge of the survey area (close to a milestone). The building is not shown on the Ordnance Survey surveyors’ drawing of 1806–7 (No. 45 pt 3). No structures are shown in this location on the modern map and no features were identified during the field visit.
