Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 21, Part 1; 143, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 270 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.
Area of quarrying on the south side of Harpford Common was identified during the survey in 2003. The main area was 30m x 15m with smaller areas including possible trackways or linear excavations extending up the hill. No quarries are shown at this location on the OS (1891) map.
