Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 21, Part 1; 143, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 273 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.
Small quarried area on the north side of a path on the southern edge of Beacon Hill was identified during the survey in 2003. An area 22m x 8m x up to 2m deep was terraced into the hillslope. No quarries are shown at this location on the OS (1891) map.
