Site of 'Targets' shown on OS 25" (1880s) map as two small rectangular features on the eastern side of the field boundary. The features are not present on OS 25" (1906) map.

The OS 1891 map shows a rifle range to the southeast of Harpford Common with 'Targets' marked just outside the south east corner of the survey area.
