Horner, B., 1997, Taunton Stop Line Survey Site Visit (Site Visit). SDV117833.

Site visit 29th April 1997. Short row of three concrete anti-tank cubes beside Mill Race north-east of Waycroft Mill. Roughly 1.5 metres wide and 2 metres tall (including rounded - pyramidal top). No obvious continuation of the barrier westwards towards the river.

Foot, W., 2005, Defence Areas. A National Study of Second World War Anti-Invasion Landscapes in England, DA03-Weycroft-S0016349 (Report - Survey). SDV360266.

Site visit 14th January 2003. Weycroft defence area. Two cubes observed from the east side of the mill race. There may be a third hidden by vegetation. In good condition.

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2016-2018, The Blackdown Hills AONB and East Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV359463.

A row of three small structures, each just over a metre in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 1976 along the western side of the watercourse. Their location, size and layout indicates that they are anti-tank obstacle forming part of the Second World War Taunton Stop Line defences. The structures may be obscured by vegetation on later available imagery.
The feature has been transcribed from the Historic England Archive 1947 aerial photographs, which have been recorded here as an additional separate source because there is a possibility that the prints may have been processed differently. This would potentially result in images on which archaeological features show slightly differently.
