Full description
Hayne, D. + Weston, H., 1996, Concrete Anti-Tank Obstacles, Weycroft (Worksheet). SDV356730.
Thirty yards down river from the anti-tank obstacles are some cylindrical concrete filled obstacles, but could possibly be bridge stanchions.
Miller, D., 2006, Taunton Stop Line Survey (Interpretation). SDV325679.
Footbridge visible at location on the RAF 1946-49 aerial photos. Bridge was subsequentially demolished and only the foundations are visible on the 1999-2000 'Get Mapping' photo's. There is no reference to a bridge here on the 1930's maps or any of the earlier maps.
