Full description

English Heritage, 1974, Salcombe (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV335625.

Sunnycombe, Lower Batson, including forecourt wall. Probably 17th century, thatched cottage, eaves eye-browed above three first floor windows, now leaded metal casements, entrance with thatched canopy on massive brackets, projecting end chimney, west, small forecourt raised above road level, with narrow coursed stone wall about 4 feet high.

Buckley Cottage, Cobbles, Nos 1, 2, Cottage adjoining No 2, Sunnycombe and The Nook form a group. Other details: LBS 397538.
