Full description
Department of Environment, 1974, Salcombe, 11 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV155971.
No. 1 on the east side of Fore Street in Salcombe. Probably early 19th century, 2 storey stucco lined and painted. Slate roof, hipped. Rough stone on return to Union Street, painted. 2 1st floor near-flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. Early 19th century wood shop front with slender pilasters to central entrance. Forms a group with the Off-shore Sea-chest, Unity Buildings, Union Street and the Custom House, Custom House Quay.
