Tythes Ford
Farmhouse. 17th century to left; extended to right and refronted in brick circa1800. Colourwashed over coursed limestone rubble; circa 1800 brick of Flemish bond and English bond. Gabled Welsh slate roof; rendered stone end stacks; rendered stone lateral stack to centre of front wall. 2-unit plan with central cross-passage extended to right circa 1800 to make 3-unit plan. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Flat brick arch over 20th century half-glazed door set in early 19th century moulded wood architrave. Flat brick arches over early 19th century horizontal sliding sashes, set in moulded wood architraves on first floor; timber lintel and segmental brick arches over similar windows to right.
Interior: 17th century ogee-stopped chamfered beams in central hall. Other details: LBS number 91371.
