Full description
English Heritage, 1974, Salcombe (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV335625.
No 56 on the west side of Fore Street in Salcombe. Early 19th century altered, 3 storey 3 window stucco front with pilasters and pediment, sash windows with glazing bars. Canopied lst floor balcony with cast iron shafts. Stone ground floor projection with segmental arched openings. May have been a public building at one time. Nos 54 to 59, (consecutive) form a group.
