Full description
Reed, S. J., 2006, Sgraffito Finds at Nuttabeery (Un-published). SDV336223.
18th century Scraffito potsherds, wasters & kiln furniture found at an industrial site on the east side of the River Torridge to the south of East-the -Water by M Palmer in 2006 mainly from material dumped at the site from an unknown source. However some sherds had been recovered from the general ground surface. Not clear if this represents a kiln site or an area in which material waste from a kiln site has been dumped. The area of the finds was an open field prior to being occupied by industrial buildings from the early 20th century onwards. Photocopies of the historic maps & colour photographs show the find spot.
