Full description
Buck, C., 2006, New Quay: Archaeological Assessment, 15-16 (Report - Assessment). SDV336511.
A well at New Quay (Site 3) is shown on 19th century maps. The survey in 2006 found the well's opening 1.3 meters long x 0.9 meters wide cut into the side of a wooded hill slope. Other details: Fig 8.

At the time of the survey in 2006 the grass and hedges had been cleared of vegetation and the well can be clearly seen. Since this time, the opening has become overgrown (fig 17).
