Full description
Buck, C., 2006, New Quay: Archaeological Assessment, 30 (Report - Assessment). SDV336511.
During the survey in 2006 a small stone quarry (Site 25) was identified on the eastern side of the track at New Quay. The feature which was 12 meters wide x 8 meters high x 8 meters deep did not appear on the historic maps & may be of recent origin.

Quarry noted in report. The rear wall of the quarry or cutting is some 8.0 metres high, 12.0 metres wide and 0.8 metres deep. A few trees are growing out of the wall that could cause instability to the structure.
