Buck, C., 2005, Wheal Russell Mine, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 25 (Report - Assessment). SDV336659.

Site of a 'Magazine' (Site 14) shown on 19th century maps at Wheal Russell Mine. The survey in 2005 found a building 9 meters long x 3.6 meters wide with the side walls up to 2.5 meters high. A central doorway at the north end had a missing lintel & the roof had collapsed. A small stone building on the west side of the 'Magazine' (Site 14.1) was possibly a detonator store.
