Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Site of a large roughly oval shaped mound shown on 19th century map.

Wheal Russell Mine spoil dump (Site 15) shown on late 19th century maps. The survey in 2005 found a long revetted mound 3.8 meters high. The partially collapsed stone revetment was 9 meters long x 3 meters high with parallel walls at the western end which may be the site of a small wheel pit.
