Building shown as a large square feature on 19th century map with small square extensions on the north & east sides.

Group of buildings (Site 19) shown on 19th century maps at Wheal Russell Mine and labelled Count House, Carpenters Shop and Saw Pit on an undated abandoned mine plan. The Carpenters Shop (Site 19.1) is shown on the 1867 map on the western side of the Count House with the Saw Pit (Site 19.2) to the north. The house continued in domestic use from the time the mine closed until the 1960s. The survey in 2005 found the two storey building with only the roof and timber lintels missing. The east wall of the saw pit appeared unstable.
