Full description
Buck, C., 2005, Wheal Russell Mine, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 36 (Report - Assessment). SDV336659.
The survey in 2005 found a small area of possibly 19th century excavation into the rock face (Site 36) which was 1.2 meters long x 1.9 meters high x 1.9 meters deep. The work appeared to be an attempt to find an ore bearing lode.
