DOE 1960, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV142631.

Charleton court remains of manor house. Early 17th century, much altered and modernised. Rubble, partly slate-hung, with some wood mullioned windows and remains of a large lateral chimney. Listed grade iii. Awaiting update (doe 1960).

House area early-mid c17 considerably remodelled in mid c19. Stone rubble walls roughly coursed to front block. Gable ended slate roof with victorian crested ridge tiles.2 brick axial stacks. Front block t shaped range with a large wing behind its left hand end (doe 1990).
