Full description
Royal Air Force, 1946 - 1949, Royal Air Force Aerial Photographs (Aerial Photograph). SDV342938.
Site of a Prehistoric barrow suggested by a dark circular mark about 30 meters diameter on the southern end of Dart Raffe Moor. The possible barrow is on the same alignment as three scheduled barrows to the north & a further possible barrow to the southwest.

No mound or cropmark is visible in this location on the hard copy prints of the 1940s RAF aerial photographs held by the Historic Environment Service. It is likely that the dark mark recorded in 2006 is a blemish on the prints used to create the digital aerial photograph layer, in common with similar dark marks in the vicinity.
