Full description

Stone seat in formal garden to the south of Dawlish College. Stone seat. Probably contemporary with Mamhead House (now Dawlish College), designed 1827-1833 by Anthony Salvin for Sir R.W. Newman, Bt.. Bathstone. Seat with a shaped solid stone back and arms with scrolled ends. Part of the formal garden south of Mamhead house and facing the south elevation of the house across the garden.
