Full description

Crowley, J., 1961, Sundials in South Devon, 269-70 (Article in Serial). SDV4705.

Sundial 76.2 centimetres long by 55.9 centimetres wide erected in 1694 of similar design and by the same stone mason as those at North Huish and Woodleigh. The legend reads "As time and hours passeth away so douth the life of man decay". The wardens initials 'P W E' occur in one top corner and the initials 'T K W' in the other. The gnomen is placed diagonally from east to west. Other details: Figure 3.
