Full description

Exeter Archaeology, 2006, Archaeological assessment of Barton Farm, Monkleigh, North Devon, 6 (Report - Assessment). SDV337524.

A square farm building (Building 2) in the western range at Barton Farm house. The building of stone rubble with cob at first floor level had been extended to the east to form a lean-to. The building appears to be shown on the 1840 Tithe Map & the 1887 map set back from the rest of the western range. Other details: Figs 3-7 & Plate 6.
