Full description
Jones, P. + Valentin, J., 2006, Archaeological Evaluation of Land at Four Ways Cross, Willand, Devon, 5-6,13, fig 7 (Report - Evaluation). SDV337959.
An archaeological evaluation by means of trench excavation was carried out by Exeter Archaeology on land at Four Ways Cross, Willand. The work revealed features and deposits dating from the prehistoric, medieval and post medieval periods. A north west-south-east post medieval metalled trackway crossed through Trenches 16 and 17. In the latter trench an associated drainage ditch was recorded on its south west side.
