Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Site of a small rectangular building shown on 19th century map on the south side of a curving field boundary on the south side of the road to the east of Shebbear.

Site of a small structure shown on the 1844 Shebbear Tithe Map & later maps. The building is not shown on Maps after 1955.

A large portion of the site was stripped of topsoil down to in situ clay/degraded slate. There were no signs of a small structure indicated on the pre-1955 maps in the northern end of the site, near the entrance. Other details: Plan.
