Full description

Wessex Archaeology, 2007, Historic Environment Audit of Devon County Farms. Pilot Project. Results of East Catkill Farm, Rose Ash, South Molton, 11, pl.10,11 (Report - Assessment). SDV338186.

Shown on 1844 Tithe Map as free-standing structure to east of farmhouse. Originally open fronted with hay loft above. Rendered stone and cob under corrugated tin sheet roof. Open front now infilled with concrete blocks. Mangers fitted against north wall inside. Cobbled floor. Building currently used for storage. Other details: 1622.
