Full description

Exeter Archaeology, 2007, Archaeological Assessment of Land at Tiverton Parkway Railway Station, Sampford Peverell, 4 (Report - Assessment). SDV338166.

The 1844 Sampford Peverell Tithe Map shows a former field boundary on a broad north to south alignment. The boundary is not shown on the Ordnance Survey 1890 map so was removed between 1840 & 1890. The shape of the boundary suggests that it may have followed a former tributary of the Spratford Stream. Other details: Site 21.
